This bowl was made by reusing old railroad ties (square pieces of wood laid under train tracks to support the tracks).
Hard hardwood is used for the railroad ties, and after they have finished their work on the tracks they are sorted by grade and reused, taking advantage of their texture, strength and anti-corrosive properties. A
removable borosilicate glass bowl is attached to the inside of the railroad ties bowl, making it easy to use as a food bowl for pets.
